Mii Wiki on Google

Searching for "MiiWiki" on Google does not display the wiki at all, while "Mii Wiki" does. Nevertheless, it's the first result on DuckDuckGo for both strings, so congratulations. :D You should probably request deletion of the old Miraheze wiki so it doesn't waste their space. -Vipz (talk) 00:44, 17 June 2022 (UTC)

Yeah, Google hates to index us. :P I do plan to get Miraheze to delete the old one soon so someone doesn't try and take it over. Kirb (talk) 14:24, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
It might help if "MiiWiki" were made to redirect to the main page, I just realised we hosted a dead link to you guys from Bulbapedia as well because of that. 4iamking 22:23, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
Added since it might help, although I think the Bulbapedia redlink with MiiWiki is an internal one for Bulbapedia's page about the wiki (e.g. Bulbapedia:WiKirby) and is supposed to not have the space since that's the site name. ---PinkYoshiFan 23:11, 11 December 2023 (UTC)

Huge lag while scrolling in dark mode

How is this dark mode on MiiWiki currently done? -Vipz (talk) 19:03, 24 January 2023 (UTC)

So, we're using this extension here. It was created specifically for Miraheze. mw:Extension:DarkMode. Kirb (talk) 19:05, 24 January 2023 (UTC)

A Main Page section for SPMP

I've been having trouble finding reliable information on StreetPass Mii Plaza. If this wiki could add a main page link for SPMP, it would draw a bit more attention to the lack of information on it here. Thanks! --Kitapio T. (talk) 17:23, 9 November 2023 (UTC)

Personally, I feel like it doesn't really need a whole box to itself in the games section since it's covered in the more games section (I feel like Miitopia doesn't really deserve its own either but that's another issue). That being said, I could see something where we put all of the Mii-focused games on there (avoiding making it as big as Category:Games by splitting it by series like we do now). Problems with scrolling on pages in the wiki

I am having some problems scrolling pages in this wiki. When I scroll in the wiki, the page is delayed. How can this problem be solved? --Max (talk) 15:36, 10 December 2023 (UTC)

What are you scrolling on? I've scrolled on Mobile, Chrome and Windows and I've had no problems. It could be a Apple issue. Or an internet one. Laggy internet could delay pages (talk) 10:38, 10 December 2023 (EST)
If it's related to connection issues, the server was being slowed down this morning but that should be fixed now. If not, what do you mean by delayed? Is the page scrolling slower than usual, or are elements you scroll to loading slower? Also, is this for viewing pages or in the editor? PinkYoshiFan (talk) 00:30, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
Sorry for the very late response. I am referring to the fact that the pages are moving slower than usual for every article and also on the wiki homepage. When I open the wiki on my laptop with Windows 11 with Google Chrome and scroll on a page, the page reacts to the scrolling one or more seconds later. --Max (talk) 19:57, 28 January 2024 (UTC)

Copying from Wikipedia

User:Moses Sin is copying and pasting text from Wikipedia for our Wii Play article. Is this allowed? Drago (talk) 16:04, 6 February 2024 (UTC)

We don't technically have any written rules against plagiarism (yet), but undone since it's still a copyright violation due to not being attributed and it's generally a bad practice. (Also, even if it was attributed, I just noticed that we use a Creative Commons 3.0 license while Wikipedia is on a 4.0 license, not sure how those interact). ---PinkYoshiFan 17:35, 6 February 2024 (UTC)
Alright, thanks for removing! Drago (talk) 17:42, 6 February 2024 (UTC)

Dark Mode Photos

The images used in articles become less saturated when using dark mode. This is quite an annoying happening, and I hope it may stop at some point. Thank you! --Kitapio T. (talk) 19:51, 22 March 2024 (UTC)

Adding on to this, the Mii Wiki logo becomes inverted, and I'm pretty sure other stuff does too. --TheMasonfrom3R (talk) 3:53PM, 22 March 2024 (EST)
