Free Play is a game mode in Wii Party that allows players to play any minigame at will.

Minigame	Instructions
Derby Dash	It's time for a horse race! Giddyup to the finish line, but be careful not to use up your horse's energy too soon.
Shifty Gifts	The presents are piling up! Don't let them topple over.
Chop Chops	It's an old-fashioned veggie-choppin' contest! The first player to chop up his or her vegetable is the winner. (NTSC) It's an old-fashioned vegetable chopping contest! The first to chop up his or her vegetable is the winner. (PAL)
Jumbo Jump	Why take turns when you can all ski jump at the same time? The closer to the end you launch, the longer you'll fly.
Popgun Posse	Shoot your can to rack up points! Each shot is worth one point, but you'll lose two points if it hits the ground.
Flap Hurdles	Hurdle over the rolling logs and barrels as you race to the finish!
Puzzle Pick-Up	Complete as many two-piece puzzles as you can before time is up. The ones with a Mii face are worth two points.
Moon Landing (NTSC) Lunar Landers (PAL)	Avoid the asteroids and race to land on the moon first. Look at that view!
Zombie Tag	Zombies?! Don't let them tag you or you'll turn into one! On the bright side, you'll get to chase the other players.
Flag Fracas	It's a mad dash to the flag! Grab it first to win, but be careful not to jump the gun. Do it twice, and it's a DQ. (NTSC) Do it twice and you're out! (PAL)
Smile Snap	Snap a photo of as many smiles as you can. You only get one shot at it, though, so wait for the right moment!
Dicey Descent	Choose left or right and cross your fingers! If you're unlucky, you'll get zapped. Two zaps and it's game over.
Ram Jam	It's a sprint to the finish, but where did all of these sheep come from?! Oh, well--the race must go on!
Feathered Frenzy	Grab the feathers to score points! Pinks are worth one, golds are three, and leaves are minus three.
Goal Getters	It's time for some soccer practice! Time your shots and score as many goals as you can in five attempts.
Saucer Snap	You've only got one shot to snap a photo of the flying saucer. The player who gets it closest to the center wins!
Quicker Chipper	Chip as many golf balls into the cup as you can before time runs out!
Follow Your Face	Can you follow the cup that's hiding your ball? Correct answers are worth an additional point each round.
Maze Daze	It's a race to the middle of the maze! On the way, you'll have to deal with two dizzy spinners. Which way is up?!
Chopper Hoppers	Fly your helicopter around and try to pick up as many Mii characters as possible, one or two at a time!
Space Brawl	It's a good old-fashioned space brawl! Fly into your opponents or throw space junk at them to rack up points.
Stop Watchers	Stop your clock at the time shown at the top. Your clock will be hidden after a few seconds, so try to keep count!
Friendly Face-Off	It's a race to place the six pieces of your face back together!
Barrel Daredevil	Stop the falling barrel as close as you can to your Mii. It takes a true daredevil to excel at this minigame!
Crash Balls (NTSC) Ball Brawl (PAL)	Roll your ball around and try to knock your opponents into the holes by crashing into them!
Tropical Punch	Knock the other players into the sea with your punching contraption! At least the water looks warm... (NTSC) Knock the other players into the sea with your punching contraption! At least the water looks warm. (PAL)
Strategy Steps	Pick a number--one, three, or five. If nobody else picks it, you'll climb that many steps. First to the top wins!
Pearl Plunder	Swim around as a mermaid or merman, and collect as many pearls as you can. Oh, and watch out for jellyfish!
Hammer Heads	Hit the moles with your hammer to earn points. Brown ones are worth one, and golden ones are worth three.
Cosmic Capers (NTSC) Space Race (PAL)	It's a good old-fashioned space race! When you fly through the pink rings, you'll get a super speed boost.
Rope Sling (NTSC) Lofty Leap (PAL)	Grab the rope, swing back and forth to build up your momentum, and let go to sling as far as you can!
Face Flip	One card in each row has your Mii face on it. The first player to flip over all three of his or her cards wins!
Spotlight Fight	Don't get caught without a spotlight! The last player left shining wins.
Shutterpup	See who can snap the most puppy photos! A red viewfinder means it's in focus. Blurry shots don't count.
Cry Babies	Calm down your crying baby by rocking it in rhythm with the beating heart. That'll bring a smile to its face.
Lucky Launch	The only thing you need to win this minigame is luck! Pick one of the four fireworks and hope for the best.
Back Attack	Track down your opponents and shoot the targets on their backs. The last player left cruising wins!
Chin-Up Champ	Who can do the most chin-ups in 10 seconds? Let's find out!
Walk-Off	Walk as close to the distance shown at the start as you can. There are three signs to help gauge your strides.
Balloon Buggies	Burst balloons with your dune buggy to rack up points! Pink ones are worth one point, and gold ones are worth three.

1 VS 3

Minigame	Instructions
Splash Bash	The solo player's goal is to swing the ball at the team and knock them into the pool before time runs out.
Lumber Whacks	The solo player's goal is to chop and kick the logs being thrown by the team. Get whacked three times, and it's over. (NTSC) The solo player's goal is to chop and kick the logs being thrown by the team. Get walloped three times and it's over. (PAL)
Flying Fruit	The solo player's goal is to count the fruit shown at the start. The team has to try and hide the flying fruit!
Poserobics	It's time for some poserobics! In each round, the team's goal is to imitate the solo player's pose.
Hide-and-Peek	Each player on the team picks a hiding spot. If the solo player can find them all in five turns, it's a win!

Minigame	Instructions
Commuter Count	Count up all the passengers riding on the train as it rushes by!
Timber Topple	It's lumberjack time! The first player to make enough chops with the axe to topple the tree is the winner.
Delivery Duel	There are two of you and only one pizza customer! Keep an eye on the map and race your scooter there first.
Jangle Wranglers (NTSC) Shepherd Scramble (PAL)	When these sheep hear a bell jangle, they'll head right for it! Wrangle as many into your gate as you can.
Channel Changers	Change the channel on each of your six TVs to match the channel shown on the TV at the top!
Spring Time	It's a spring to the finish! Boing there first to win.
Pop-Up Bandits	Shoot the bandits as they pop up! Be careful not to shoot the ladies, though, or you'll lose five points.
Poppin' Pilots	Pilot your plane into the balloons to pop them! Pink ones are worth one point, and gold ones are worth three.
Flag Footrace	It's a mad dash to the flag! Grab it first to win, but be careful not to jump the gun. Do it twice, and it's a DQ. (NTSC) Do it twice and you're out! (PAL)
Roll to the Goal	Tilt the maze and roll your Mii to the goal before your opponent!
Fruit Focus	Try your best to remember each fruit's location. The first player to get three correct is the winner!

Bumper Crops	Sort the falling apples, grapes, and bananas into the correct baskets!
Robot Factory	Another day in the robot factory... Work together to assemble the parts coming down the conveyor belts.
Paddle Pals	You're up a creek with one paddle each! Work as a team to reach the goal as fast as you can.
Flashlight Frights (NTSC) Torchlit Terror (PAL)	It's dangerous to go alone! Take a flashlight each and dispel the ghosts by shining the light at them.
Basket Bonanza	Make as many baskets as you can! Coordinate your shots so that you don't mess each other up.
Tippy Traverse	Run along the paths and reach the goal together. Keep the bridge balanced, or you'll tip over!
Meet and Greet	Meet up with your partner as fast as you can! Only one door in each room will lead to the next room. Good luck!
Fishin' Buddies	It takes two anglers to wrangle in these crazy fish! Pull up at the same time to make the catch.
Pop Coaster	Pop the balloons and collect the gifts! A green gift is worth ten points, a red is five, and a blue is one.
Flycycle Team	Cooperate with your teammate to pedal your flycycle as far as you can! Collect the hearts to regain energy.
Sheep Crossing	Rotate the round platforms to herd the sheep across the river. Who built this crazy thing?
Pump Cart Panic	Work together to pump the lever on this wacky mine cart, and outrun the giant boulder! (NTSC) Work together to pump the lever on this wacky mine cart and outrun the giant boulder! (PAL)
Blastronauts	Avoid the asteroids and blast to the goal together as fast as you can!
Rodent Rundown	How did that mouse get the key?! Work together to corner the pesky rodent and get out of this weird place.
Can Poppers	Shoot the cans to keep them in the air! Each shot is worth one point, but you’ll lose two if they hit the ground.
Spring Ringers	Toss the rings onto the flowers to make them bloom! Try to get all 12 of them to bloom before time runs out!
Bobsled Highway (NTSC) Bobsleigh Highway (PAL)	It's bobsled time! Work together to race to the finish. Slide over the glowing panels to boost your speed. (NTSC) It's bobsleigh time! Work together to race to the finish. Slide over the glowing panels to boost your speed.
Jump Rope Jam (NTSC) Skipping Squad (PAL)	Swing the jump rope with your partner. See how many times you can get all five jumpers to jump.
Teamwork Temple	It takes a lot of teamwork to reach the treasure hidden deep in the temple. Work together to strike it rich!
Color Coordination (NTSC) Colour Coordination (PAL)	Cross this wacky contraption by stepping on the colored switches to help eachother advance.
Clover Hunt (NTSC) Hidden Charms (PAL)	Find all five of the four-leaf clovers in the painting before time runs out. Accidentally selecting a three-leaf clover will cost you 2 seconds.
Banana Blockade	Get these bananas out of here! Slide the crates out of the way, and team up to move the bigger ones.
