The shape of the cake is based on the Imps' hairstyles. The common Devil's Food Cake is a light brown cake with chocolate frosting, served on an indigo plate reminiscent of the Cheery Granny Imp. The rare version of the cake has a red inside and is on a pink plate, making it similar in color to a regular Imp.
