StreetPass is a service used for the Nintendo 3DS where players must meet up or walk by each other to share data. StreetPass is used in a lot of software including the pre-installed app, StreetPass Mii Plaza where StreetPass is vital for the software. Once the player has gotten a StreetPass, the LED on the Nintendo 3DS will blink green. The player can only receive 10 pieces of StreetPass data at a time. When first unveiled at E3, the service was going to be called "CrossPass" before being split into SpotPass. [1]
