CPU Miis are premade Miis that show up as opponents in various Wii series as well as some other games such as in the Super Smash Bros. series or the Mario Kart series as fill-ins for real players.

There are two sets of CPU Miis, ones used on the Wii and ones used on the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

CPU Mii's first appeared in Wii Sports, where 60 Mii's were made to appear as CPU's. In the sequel Wii Sports Resort 40 [needs verification] new Miis were created, making the total amount 100.

On the Wii U, all original 100 CPU Mii's are replaced with new 111 CPU Mii's and first appeared in Nintendo Land, taking the place of Mii's that would appear from Miiverse when the system was not connected to the internet, when Miiverse was not enabled, and when Miiverse shut down.
