Super Mario Maker 2 is a 2D level creator in the Super Mario Maker series, released for the Nintendo Switch on June 28, 2019. As the sequel to Super Mario Maker for the Wii U, it introduces new course parts, a new game style based on Super Mario 3D World, a story mode, and the ability to create level maps called Super Worlds (as part of the Ver. 3.0 Update). Miis are used as players’ avatars in Course World, and can be equipped with various different Outfits.
