Miitopia is an RPG for the Nintendo 3DS released in Japan in December 2016 and worldwide in July 2017 developed and published by Nintendo.
While not completely being confirmed as such, the game is often considered as a sequel or a spin-off of the Tomodachi series, with the player being able to import Miis created in Tomodachi Life directly into the game[1], proving that in some way, the Tomodachi series and Miitopia may take place in the same universe.
Miitopia was later re-released in May 2021 as an enhanced port on the Nintendo Switch with new features such as Makeup and the Horse being added into the game, similarly to Mario Kart 8 being ported from the Wii U on the Nintendo Switch as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
