Mii News
Mii News is a location in Tomodachi Collection and Tomodachi Life. It is unlocked by having seven Miis on the island, with at least three male and three female islanders. It broadcasts every time a new facility or event opens or the island reaches a major milestone, even before the building itself is constructed. After it is built, it gives humorous news updates twice daily at 7 am and 7 pm, which are purely for entertainment purposes and do not relate to any actual events happening in the game.
The completion of the building also gives the player the ability to view past news stories under an "Old News" tab; up to 10 (in Collection) or 50 (in Life) are saved at a time, and the oldest broadcasts are deleted once the maximum is reached. The player can lock newscasts to prevent them from being deleted.
Breaking newscasts will indicate their arrival by the text "News Flash!" at the bottom of the map screen, then immediately sending the player to view the broadcast. Once the newscast is over, the player will be sent back to the map screen. The player cannot view old news while a breaking newscast is going on.
