The Beach is a section of the island in the Tomodachi series. It first appeared as a hidden location in Tomodachi Collection, where it can only be visited as a potential location for a Mii to confess their love. In Tomodachi Life, it is unlocked from the very start, and the Judgment Bay event on it is unlocked later in the game. While at the beach, Miis can be seen standing or sitting by the ocean, jogging along the coastline, digging in the sand, or making a sandcastle. Miis with the metal detector, kite, fishing pole, or soccer ball gifts can be seen using them at the beach.
Judgment Bay

Judgment Bay is an event carried over from an activity of a similar nature in Tomodachi Collection, there referred to as Tasuuketsu ("Majority Vote") and taking place at the Question Hall. It is the only event that takes place at the beach, and it becomes available after reaching an island population of 16. Like Quirky Questions, it can be started at any time by the player from the event schedule.
Judgment Bay's gameplay involves two to four categories drawn in the sand, where the player can write or draw anything they want in the categories using the stylus. Once they are ready, the "Judgment!" button can be selected, which causes all the islanders to run to whatever option they pick. The winning category is whichever one has the most Miis in it, though ties are possible.
