Keys
Keys are unlockables in Go Vacation that are required to unlock most Villa (Go Vacation) customization options.
In the Wii version, there are 2 types of keys: Gold Keys and Silver Keys. Silver Keys are unlocked by completely completing a part of an activity (Example: Finishing all Marine Bike Races), while Gold Keys are unlocked from doing specific challenges/actions when exploring Kawawii Island.
In the Nintendo Switch version, Gold and Silver Keys have been removed entirely, being replaced with Keys. Keys are obtained by leveling up your player level, a new mechanic introduced in the Switch version. By completing resort specific challenges, doing tricks, and completing daily orienteering, the player earns XP, which contributed to their level. Completely completing a part of an activity now gives the player thousands of XP. Daily Orienteering is a new mechanic that gives the player optional challenge to complete. If the player completes a Daily Challenge, they are rewarded with a few thousand XP.

Gold Keys
The player is awarded a gold Key for completing a list of tasks. In the game, there are 12 list, making there 12 total Gold Keys to collect. Below is the completed list.
