Kuruma de DS[Japanese title] (クルマでDS, DS in the Car) is Japan-only software released on the 9th July 2012 developed by Denso-Ten and Nintendo for the Nintendo DS and published by Nintendo in collaboration with Toyota and Honda. Kuruma de DS is meant to be used with car navigation systems using bluetooth, the game being designed in order to make long drives and traffic jams less frustrating.

Nowadays, the game has nowadays become infamous around Mii discussion spaces for being almost entirely impossible to play due to the car with which the game is compatible being put out of constructions years ago.

Gameplay

Kuruma de DS was designed to be used directly with a GPS called the "ECLIPSE AVN-ZX02i", which was present in Toyota's "Prius", "Alphard", and "Vellfire" series of cars, as well as Honda's "FIT" series of cars.[1]

The software also includes Miis and a proper Mii Maker, different from the one used in Tomodachi Collection and Personal Trainer: Walking.

During a normal session of the game, characters will provide local quizzes, hand-drawn map notes, and tourist information.

The game features the exact same voice synthesis system used in the game Tomodachi Collection.
