Swapdoodle is a messaging application for the Nintendo 3DS, and the successor to Swapnote. While the content of Swapnote was completely free, extra content for Swapdoodle was released in paid DLC packs, bundling additional stationery, pens, and glitter with "doodle lessons" of various subjects, particularly from Nintendo franchises. While some features from Swapnote were removed, such as attaching photos and audio recordings to notes, new features include stamping Mii faces, software icons, and badges from Nintendo Badge Arcade in notes, as well as Date Stamps, which only let recipients open the note after a date specified by the sender. Screenshots from a list of supported games, however, can still be attached.
