Otona no Onna no Uranai Techou (大人のオンナの占い手帳), loosely translating to Fortune-Telling Notebook for Adult Women, was a cancelled Nintendo DS game in development by Nintendo. It is the first known game with avatars resembling Miis and also had a Mii Maker look-alike.
Gameplay
While very little information about this game is available due to it being cancelled, it is known that the game would have been a fortune-telling game and that the players could have had avatars based on themselves put into the game, [citation needed] with this concept being later turned into the Miis and the Mii Channel on the Wii.
Connections to other titles
Even if not released, this game is a rather important one in the Mii franchise as the game was the first ever instance of avatars resembling Miis being utilized, with only a few software titles predating it and only having avatars that did not look like Miis. Although the proper concept of Miis was not fully developed and the avatars as a collective were not officially named in development, a Mii Maker look-alike was included in the game and the title itself was eventually reworked into Tomodachi Collection.
While not confirmed to be linked to this game, Nintendo and Jamsworks did eventually release a fortune-telling Nintendo DS game titled DS Uranai Seikatsu.
