It says that the magic attack has 80% use chance, but healing has a 100% use chance. The only thing I can think of is that they always use the heal if a monster is hurt, but I don't want to commit to saying that having not played the game in several months. Also due to that I can't really infer if they have a basic attack or not from the info sheet alone.)
