Miitopia (island)

This article is about the island from both Miitopia games, and should not be confused with the game by the same name it appears in.

Miitopia is the name of an island located in the Miitopia universe and the setting of the game itself. It is composed of 12 distinct regions that are unlocked over the course of the game. Towards the middle of the game, an interactive map of Miitopia is unlocked so that players can quickly travel from one region to another.

Regions

• Greenhorne- A basic area with a village and castle.
• Neksdor- A large desert with a town.
• Realm of the Fey- A forest with large plants and an elf village.
• Karkaton- An inhospitable volcanic area containing the Dark Lord's castle.
• Traveler's Hub- A large city with no monsters that travelers seeking help come to.
• Powdered Peaks- Snow-covered mountains.
• Peculia- An area with surreal scenery and portals to other areas.
• Nimbus- The top of the clouds, with industrial factories.
• The Sky Scraper- A massive tower built by those posessed by the Dark Curse.
• Otherworld- A region deadly to normal Miis with several floating Mii parts.
• Galados Isle- An uninhabited tropical island.
• New Lumos- A city filled with powerful monsters.

Trivia

• Many of these regions' names are puns:
  • Greenhorne comes from the word "greenhorn," meaning "an inexperienced or naive person." This comes from the fact that it is the starting region of the game.
  • Neksdor is pronounced "next door" because it is right next to Greenhorne.
  • Peculia comes from the word "peculiar" to demonstrate the strange nature of this region.
